HOW TO GET RID OF ERROR 0X8024400A

Double click over Services. & then, right click over Background Intelligent Transfer Service and go to its properties.
Now, on general tab, select startup type as “Automatic”.
Further, next to service tab, check whether the service is started or not. If it doesn’t Start it.
Note: If by following the above procedure BITS procedure fails to start properly then, use System File Checker Tool.
Open Command Prompt
Type sfc /scannow
Then, again go to above step to restart the services.
